MedAssets Claims Management Solution Rated As Category Leader By KLAS
ATLANTA, GA (February 15, 2008) – MedAssets, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDAS), announced today it achieved a Category Leader ranking in Revenue Cycle – Claims Management Software from KLAS for its claims management solution in healthcare for the second consecutive year. XClaim is a leader in clean claims submission rates and payer payment rates resulting in increased net revenue, decreased account receivable days, and increased cash flow for MedAssets’ customers.
MedAssets added XClaim to its revenue management segment with the acquisition of XactiMed in 2007. XactiMed’s XClaim claims management solution was ranked #1 by independent research and consulting firm, KLAS, for 2007 and 2006. XClaim outranked McKesson, ePremis, and SSI to win the top ranking as rated by customers using the solutions.
